Breeding

Boutique breeding at it's best!

We have a boutique breeding philosophy here at Diamond Performance Horses.  We breed a few select mares, one or two at a time to produce horses we would want to ride and train ourselves. Talent, trainability and personality are our top priorities.  The goal is to produce horses that become cherished family members while taking their owners fun and exciting places.  We will be standing AQHA stallion Tall Dark N Sudden to limited group of select mares in 2018.

Springsteen as he is known to the people who love him, is already proving himself to be a great show horse and sire. With very limited showing as a 2 and 3yr old, he was a western pleasure futurity champion, and multiple green and junior western pleasure circuit champion and earned his ROM in western pleasure. By his 4 yr old year he earned 88.5 open points in performance halter stallions, western pleasure, trail, and western riding. His first foal arrived in 2017 and is spectacular. He will stand to a limited book of select mares in 2018 and will continue his show career in western pleasure, trail and western riding. ​

Daisy is an accomplished show mare having earned multiple year end high points in western pleasure and trail as well as 38.5 points before her carreer was cut short due to injury.  She has produced Tall Dark N Sudden, Tall Dark N Violet, and Original Impulse and is due to foal a full sibling to Tall Dark N Sudden in 2018.
